I've always been a fan of your work. I have used it as a reference for a lot of my other commission pieces. I like the scabbard, and I always think you do a great job on expressions. They are subtle, but detailed. (The faint smile on her in this piece is well done)
Kudos!

I was thrilled when I found out how Josh wanted to replicate my take on Thryvanstael here, as I recall when he wanted me to draw it, I was looking at your previous works of Torea for part of its inspiration. You always draw such great armour too. Makes me want to colour it.

Haha, thanks! Yes Josh told me to scrap the weapon i had drawn and use your design. I'm actually happy with how it turned out, and since Im not huge on designing weapons myself, I was glad to have a good reference that made things so much easier.
Well, hopefully I'll be able to design more concepts later on that'll prove as useful as this one was.
Seriously though, I think you're pretty good at designing stuff like that, especially with armour. The latter usually takes a bit for me to think of... hence I suppose we can add that to the reason why I prefer drawing more naked stuff at times... XD

For those who have many watchers, and for those who dont have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

The Deviousness Award is an accolade which is traditionally handed out on the 1st of every month to one trully outstanding deviant. `Cyantre is one of the most helpful deviants within our community.
